Vlastimil Drbal gave an invited lecture in Jerusalem

On 9th November 2015 Vlastimil Drbal gave an invited lecture in the Görres Society (Görres Gesellschaft) in Jerusalem. The topic was “Mamre: A. E. Mader´s Excavations at Haram Ramet el-Khalil (1926-1928) in the Light of New Archaeological and Historical Research”.

The lecture had three parts:

In the first part, the scientific career of Andreas Evaristus Mader was generally outlined. In the second part V. Drbal focused on Mader’s excavations at Haram Ramet el-Khalil. In the final part, the new archaeological and historical research concerning Mamre and Haram Ramet el-Khalil was presented.
